As of October 1, 2025, Jeroen Eijsink has taken over as Chief Executive Officer of Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA), Germany’s leading port logistics company. He replaces Angela Titzrath, who ended her mandate after nine years of leadership. The changeover is a milestone for HHLA as it faces the intricacies of European port and logistics management.
A Seasoned Leader with Global Expertise
Eijsink, a Dutch citizen, has more than 25 years of global experience in transport and logistics. He started his career in Siemens’ digitalization business before holding various senior positions at Deutsche Post DHL, such as CEO of DHL Freight Germany and CEO of DHL Freight Benelux & UK. Eijsink joined C.H. Robinson in 2015, playing a leading role in developing the European business of the company. Most recently, Eijsink was CEO of Girteka Group, one of the most successful European road transport companies, guiding its strategic restructuring ajot.com.
